Premier Rankin’s itinerary for



Premier Rankin travels to Lunenburg. 

10:00 AM. Premier Rankin and Suzanne Lohnes-Croft, Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage and MLA for Lunenburg join Dr. Brendan Carr, President and CEO of Nova Scotia Health, and local representatives to make an announcement regarding palliative care on the grounds of Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital. 


12:30 PM. Premier Rankin tours the set of NBCUniversal series ‘The Sinner’ on Lunenburg‘s waterfront. 

1:00 PM.  Premier Rankin and Minister Suzanne Lohnes-Croft announce an investment to support the Nova Scotia film industry. They will be joined by Screen Nova Scotia executive director Laura Mackenzie, and Lunenburg Mayor Matt Risser. 

Premier Rankin travels to Chester. 

2:45 PM. Premier Rankin meets with Fire Chief Everett Hiltz, Assistant Fire Chiefs Gregory Conron & Cody Stevens, Chester Playhouse Co-Chairs Liz Crocker and Susan Crocker, and volunteer Project Manager Wilson Fitt at the Chester Playhouse.
